Refund and Returns Policy

This Returns and Refunds Policy applies to purchases made from MacG Racing Ltd, Company Number 07159006, registered office Barrow Bridge Industrial Estate, Sinfin Lane, Barrow Upon Trent, Derby, DE73 7HH, via https://macgracing.co.uk/. It sits alongside, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Your Right to Cancel (Distance Selling — Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

Unless a product is exempt (see below), if you are a consumer buying online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, notify us within the 14-day period, then return the goods within a further 14 days. Refunds for cancelled orders under this right will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence the goods have been returned, whichever is sooner.

Exemptions typically include: bespoke or made-to-order/customised products manufactured to your specification, and goods that have been used, fitted, or unsealed for hygiene/safety reasons where applicable.

Faulty or Defective Products

If you believe a product you ordered is faulty, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to report this to us under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Email info@macgracing.co.uk outlining the issue, and we will provide instructions on how to return the goods.

Damaged Items

If you receive a damaged item, inform us within three calendar days of receipt by emailing info@macgracing.co.uk. We may request the item be returned to us, or ask for photographic evidence of the damage. If we ask for a return, we will confirm the required shipping method. Once we receive and confirm the item is damaged, we will reimburse the shipping cost, provided proof of postage is obtained. A free-of-charge replacement product/part, or a refund, will be processed as appropriate; we are not liable for any further costs incurred. We will not reimburse carriage costs if goods are returned using a non-approved method.

Incorrect Items

If you receive an item different from the one ordered, email info@macgracing.co.uk with details of the item received in error, and we will advise how to return it. Once we receive and confirm the item is incorrect, we will reimburse shipping costs, provided proof of postage is obtained. A free-of-charge replacement, or a refund, will be processed as appropriate; we are not liable for further costs incurred. We will confirm our preferred return shipping method; if you cannot use this method, contact us to seek approval for an alternative and confirm the costs. We will not reimburse carriage costs if a non-approved return method is used.

Refunds

Where a refund is agreed for any reason outlined in this Policy, it will be processed within 14 calendar days. Refunds are generally issued to the original payment method. Once processed, your bank or payment provider may take up to 5 working days to clear the refund; PayPal refunds may take longer, subject to their own procedures.

Items Not Eligible for Return

Items that have been used on track or in competition are not eligible for return or refund. Bespoke or made-to-order products, and non-refundable deposits paid toward custom design/manufacture, are non-refundable except where the product is faulty.

Return Shipping Method

We will specify our preferred method for returning goods. Please use this method, or one of comparable cost. If this is not possible, email info@macgracing.co.uk to seek approval for an alternative method and confirm costs in advance. We will not reimburse carriage costs where goods are returned via a non-approved method.

International Orders and Customs

When ordering goods for delivery overseas, you may be subject to import duties and taxes levied on arrival in the destination country. Any customs charges are your responsibility; we have no control over, and cannot predict, these charges. You should contact your local customs office for guidance, as policies vary by country. When ordering from MacG Racing, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with the laws and regulations of your destination country.
